  • You should be willing to learn regularly.
  • You should be able to keep your focus for long hours of work.
  • You should be able to motivate yourself.

At first, these may appear simple and obvious requirements, but think over them for a while and you will realize that not all people demonstrate these attributes. If you think you have the ability to become a medical transcriptionist, spend some time analyzing the benefits and challenges of the profession.
