• You should be willing to spend time and effort on learning. Yeah, the profession requires that you keep learning throughout your career. Obsolete knowledge can cost you your career. You have to make time for learning almost everyday.
• You should be willing to research extensively for work. As a medical transcriptionist, you are required to refer to external material in order to ensure that medical records are complete and accurate.
